As well as posting on social media (we hope you follow us on Facebook, Instagram and X), we are going to be posting regular updates here on our news page to keep everyone informed of the progress at Lochanwood.
So, where are we up to?
Our lease has been negotiated, our name has been decided, our committee is in place and our plans have been hashed out! It might seem like we are being a bit quiet at the moment, but that does not mean we are not working away furiously behind the scenes!
As well as digital planning, we are conducting on site, real-world assessments and planning to ensure that we are able to deliver a safe, secure and enjoyable site.

Today, Andy was out with his wheel ensuring that the fencing we have planned for is going to be adequate.
We also got some amazing new drone footage of the site and worked to create some more publicity materials in order to help spread the word about Lochanwood and the Central Sun Club.
We are currently awaiting our access road being completed…as it is awfully muddy at the moment and we don’t want folk getting trapped in the mud! Once this is complete, it will be full steam ahead as we have a forestry firm going in to clear our lawn space! Don’t worry, we have an agreement that all trees felled will be replaced elsewhere on the site!
Keep your eyes peeled for our new photographs of the site and new videos…they are going to showcase our beautiful location in a whole new light!
